Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Each member of our treatment team has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the latest in technological advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.


  Nadege Lively- Our Registered Dental Hygienist


Nadege was born in France and is fluent in both French and English. she got her start in the dental field by working as a dental assistant for over 10 years. In 2012, she began her career as a Registered Dental Hygienist when she graduated the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science. As an essential part of the White Oak Dental team, she is committed to providing a positive patient experience by being gentle,thorough, compassionate, and educating all patients as much as possible on effective dental hygiene. She enjoys the outdoors and is an avid animal, and especially, cat lover. 


  Velia Ortiz- Our Certified Dental Assistant


Velia was born in Nicaragua and is fluent in both Spanish and English. She has been in the dental field for over 15 years and is a Certified Expanded Function Dental Assistant. Dr. Thomas loves to refer to Velia as his "Dental Amazing" instead of his dental assistant. Velia enjoys interacting with patients and treats everyone with care. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and is very active in her church.


  Tera Peyton- Our Practice Manager


Tera has been a patient of Dr. Thomas since she was four years old and has been a member of the White Oak Dental team since 2009. After she graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Pre-Law and Sociology, she came for her regular exam and cleaning. She left with not only clean teeth, but also a job as the office Patient Care Coordinator. What was originally supposed to be a temporary position blossomed into Tera becoming a permanent and much needed member of the White Oak Dental team. She handles all things insurance related as well as all of the office administration tasks. Tera loves catching up with our patients every six months and stays active by participating in fun runs and kickboxing.
